“ I had the task of providing all meals, snacks & breaks for 25-30 judges for
4 full days in an area of Vancouver that I am not familiar with in an event
location I knew nothing about other than how to get there.
After searching several catering companies in the Vancouver area I happened
across Calhoun's whom from the first phone contact were absolutely
incredible to deal with. We were dealing with 4 full days of catering for
25-30 very fussy judges, with a different timeline each day.
I immediately decided to have Calhoun's cater after having discussed our
options with Julien. Julien made it all come together not only with
creating menus that were all 'raved' about, which does not occur with these
judges, but also the tiniest of detail was thought of on Calhoun's part from
start to finish was a huge help & a pleasure to deal with. The service was
excellent & the last minute changes/6:30am deliveries were done without any
grief. Total professionalism on Calhoun's part from delivery to set up &
presentation is everything! Professionalism even when the designated rooms
were switched at the last minute making delivery a little bit of a
challenge. The portions were generous & there were just enough leftovers to
make a judges long day better when looking for food @ 10 pm & we were able
to accommodate. When I have the need of a catering service again my only
call will be to Julien & his team @ Calhoun's. ”
